One Hospitalised as Fire Razes Over 76 IDP Shelters in Borno

A tragic fire outbreak has completely razed more than 76 temporary shelters belonging to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Ngamma village, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State, Northeast Nigeria.The affected families are mostly people who fled conflict in neighboring Borno State and had been living in the community as refugees. The incident has left them without shelter once again, compounding their already difficult circumstances.In response to the crisis, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni immediately directed the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to visit the scene (…)
