Alleged Wike assassination plot: Ex-Rivers SSG, Danagogo fails to honour police invitation

Former Secretary to the State Government of Rivers State, Tammy Danagogo, has reacted to the invitation extended to him by the Nigeria Police Force over alleged plot to assassinate the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike. Danagogo informed the police that he was out of town and could not honour the invitation on Thursday, 15th January, 2026. The Intelligence Response Team, IRT, of the Force Intelligence Department in Abuja had directed Danagogo to appear before it on Thursday.
