Togolese, two other foreigners nabbed for human trafficking, visa scam in Ondo

Operatives of the Ondo State Police Command have arrested a 30-year-old Togolese, John Apiah, for allegedly engaging in human trafficking and visa scams in the state.Apiah was arrested alongside two other foreigners identified as Blessings Assiah, 22, and Laro Larisa, 21, in Oda axis of Akure South Local Government Area of the state.According to Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Jimoh Abayomi, the prime suspect, John, had used the two accomplices, who are female, to lure the victims to Nigeria.The police spokesperson added that the three victims, Kanate Dekadja, 35, Charity (…)
