The sudden death of Nkanu Nnamdi, the 21-month-old son of renowned Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and her husband, Dr. Ivara Esege, has been attributed by close family sources to alleged medical negligence at a private hospital in Lagos.The toddler reportedly developed an infection during the Christmas holiday period while the family was in Lagos.
