Compulsorily Retired Police Officers Appeal to Tinubu for Reinstatement

A group of compulsorily retired Nigerian police officers from Courses 33, 34, and 35 of the Police Academy urgently appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene and enforce their reinstatement, citing a long-ignored court judgment.In a letter addressed to the President and made public through their lawyer, Adetoye Adejola, the affected officers, many of whom joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1996, 1999, and 2000 pleaded for executive intervention to overturn what they described as forced retirements.The appeal stems from a National Industrial Court judgment delivered on April 19, (…)
