A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, granted an interim order forfeiting 57 properties valued at N213,234,120,000 to the Federal Government. The assets are allegedly connected to former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), and two of his sons, Abdulaziz Malami and Abiru-Rahman Malami.Justice Emeka Nwite issued the order on an ex-parte application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), through its counsel Ekele Iheanacho (SAN).
