Tinubu Appoints First Woman Director-General of Nigerian Law School

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Dr Olugbemisola Titilayo Odusote as the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School. His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday. According to the statement, the appointment takes effect on January 10, 2026, for a four-year term. The 54-year-old Odusote is currently the Deputy Director-General and Head of the Lagos Campus and will become the first woman to lead the institution since its establishment in 1962.
