Lagos begins clearing illegal structures on Badagry expressway

The Lagos State Government has commenced clearance operations along the Lagos–Badagry Expressway to remove illegal structures and restore free flow of traffic.The Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this in a statement posted on his X handle on Monday.According to Wahab, the exercise began at Alakija in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area.He added that the operation progressed through Iyana Iba and was ongoing opposite Lagos State University (LASU), with active enforcement also taking place at Alaba Market, all in Ojo Local Government Area.Wahab (…)
