Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, says the allies of Venezuela left its leadership isolated, exposed, and alone in the hands of its adversaries. In a post via his official X handle on Saturday, Ahmad said this is how the world actually works, stressing that alliances are performative while power stands unchallenged. He was reacting to the arrest of Venezuela’s President, Nicolas Maduro and his wife by the United States’ forces on Saturday.
