Siminalayi Fubara, governor of Rivers, says his political associates, including prominent chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have resolved to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid. Fubara spoke on Thursday during the New Year banquet at the Rivers government house in Port Harcourt. The politicians mentioned by the governor are Uche Secondus, former PDP national chairman; Austin Opara, former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives; Celestine Omehia, ex-Rivers governor; and Abiye Sekino, ex-minister of transport.
