FG needs minimum five years to stabilise tax laws, says Zacch Adedeji

Zacch Adedeji, chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), says federal government needs at least five years to stabilise newly launched tax laws. Speaking on Thursday at a crossover service in Oyo state, Adedeji said the new tax framework is designed to harmonise Nigeria’s tax system by unifying multiple taxes into a single structure. He said the reform would significantly reduce compliance costs while creating a unified approach to revenue administration.
