Ademola Lookman says his New Year’s resolution for 2026 is to bring the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) gold back to Nigeria. Lookman spoke to journalists at a Super Eagles training session ahead of their second-round match at the ongoing AFCON in Morocco. When asked what his goals and aspirations for the new year are, the 28-year-old said he hopes “to bring gold back home”. The Atalanta winger also added that the Eagles are not looking to avoid any team in the competition.
