Aiyedatiwa sends Ondo new tax bill to assembly, declares Friday holiday

The Ondo State Governor, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has forwarded a new tax bill for the state to the state House of Assembly for consideration.The development came barely 24 hours before the commencement of implementation of the new tax law by the federal government, which is starting January 1, 2026.The state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Olukayode Ajulo, SAN, disclosed this after the State Executive Council meeting held on Tuesday.This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Wednesday.
