‘Welcome to our party’ – ADC expresses delight over Peter Obi’s defection

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has expressed delight over the defection of former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to the party. In a post on its verified X handle on Wednesday, the ADC welcomed Obi, saying he has the right to the party just like any other member. “We are delighted to officially welcome the former two-term Governor of Anambra State, and Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 General Election, Mr. Peter Obi, into our party, the ADC,” the post read.
