‘Significant moment in Nigeria’s history’ – Atiku welcomes Peter Obi to ADC

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the defection of Mr Peter Obi into the African Democratic Congress, ADC. Atiku described Obi’s declaration for ADC as a significant moment in the history of political coalitions in Nigeria. Recall that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in 2023, officially defected to the ADC on Wednesday. Obi announced his defection in Enugu saying his defection ahead of the 2027 election is aimed at transforming and rescuing Nigeria.
