The police command in Ogun says a tyre burst caused the road accident involving Anthony Joshua, the world heavyweight boxing champion. On Monday, the Lexus Jeep conveying Joshua and two members of the team crashed into a stationary truck around the Sinoma area near the Sagamu, Ogun state. The boxing champion and three other passengers were reportedly travelling from Lagos to Sagamu when the SUV they were in collided with a stationary truck While Joshua survived the incident with minor injuries, his close associates — Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami — died.
