FG can implement new Tax laws despite Repa' objections - Dandago

An economic expert at Bayero University, Kano, Professor Kabiru Isah Dandago, has said the Federal Government can proceed with the implementation of the newly signed tax reform laws despite objections raised by some members of the House of Representatives.Professor Dandago in an exclusive interview with DAILYPOST said the tax laws remain valid, noting that protests by lawmakers after the passage and signing of the bills do not invalidate them.“Despite their protest after the fact, the tax laws still stand,” he said.Dandago’s remarks come amid ongoing controversy over the implementation of (…)
