Two die, 16 injured as fuel tanker crashes in Plateau

A fuel tanker crash occurred near St. Louis College in Jos, Plateau State, leaving two people dead and 16 others injured.It was gathered that the crash happened on Sunday evening. Eyewitnesses said the tanker lost brakes after the Plateau State Specialist Hospital Roundabout and eventually collided with several other vehicles, resulting in fatalities.Confirming the incident to PUNCH Online in Jos on Monday, the Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Peter Longsan, said the injured were rushed to hospitals, while the deceased were deposited at BUTH.According to him, the (…)
