Nigeria has qualified for the last 16 of the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations following a 3-2 victory over Tunisia on Saturday night. The Super Eagles began their tournament with a narrow 2-1 win over Tanzania on Tuesday. And they came into this game knowing that three points against the Carthage Eagles would put them in control of Group C. The North Africans had thrashed Uganda 3-0 in their opening fixture and were also keen to qualify.
