Airstrikes truly hit Lakurawa hideouts in Sokoto – Residents confirm

Residents of Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State have confirmed aerial attacks on locations believed to be hideouts of the Lakurawa armed group in the area. A local government official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told our correspondent that the strikes occurred late at night in parts of Tangaza. “The attacks happened between 10 p.m. and midnight at Warriya and Alkasim villages,” the official said.
