Hundreds of artisans and mechanics from the Egbeda-Idimu Mechanic Village in Alimosho Local Government Area stormed the Lagos State House of Assembly on December 23, 2025, to protest ongoing harassment and attempts to evict them from their workplaces.The protesters, operating under the Egbeda–Idimu Community Development Association (CDA), accused the CDA chairman of repeatedly mobilizing hoodlums to chase them away, severely disrupting their livelihoods.
