Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on Sunday paid a condolence visit to his Bayelsa State counterpart, Senator Douye Diri, following the sudden death of Bayelsa's Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.The visit took place at the Government House in Yenagoa, where Governor Fubara personally commiserated with Governor Diri over the loss.Senator Ewhrudjakpo, aged 60, passed away suddenly on December 11, 2025, after collapsing in his office.
