Thousands of holiday travellers heading home for Christmas have been trapped in severe gridlock along the busy Lokoja-Abuja highway, with traffic snarls persisting for the third consecutive day.Motorists interviewed by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) described harrowing experiences, with many stuck for over 12 hours without significant movement.
