Oscars to leave TV broadcast, begin YouTube live streaming

The Academy Awards, popularly known as the Oscars, have announced plans to move from Television live broadcast to YouTube stream. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences informed the public about the new development on Wednesday. Leaders of the Academy in a statement noted that the YouTube streaming will commence with its 101st edition ceremony in 2029 till 2033.
