PenCom to launch health insurance scheme March 2026, targets 30,000 low-income retirees

The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has announced plans to kick off the pension industry health care initiative (PenCare) with a pilot phase targeting 30,000 low-income retirees across Nigeria in March 2026. Omolola Oloworaran, the PenCom director-general (DG), spoke at the 2025 PenCom media conference in Lagos on Thursday, according to NAN.
