The Nigerian Senate on Thursday confirmed all career and non-career ambassadorial nominees forwarded by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with the exception of the nominee from Yobe State, former Senator Adamu Garba Talba, who passed away in July 2025.The mass confirmation brings to a close a process that began with the submission of dozens of names earlier this month, aimed at filling critical diplomatic vacancies that have persisted for over two years.
