BREAKING: Federal Govt reopens 47 unity schools

The federal government has ordered the reopening of all the Unity Colleges it earlier shut down. In November, the federal government shut down some 44 Unity Colleges and cited security threats in parts of the country as the reason. The decision was made after armed bandits attacked three schools within one month, while hundreds of students were abducted. In a statement on Thursday, Boriowo Folasade, ministry of education spokesperson, said the government has ordered that the schools should be reopened “to ensure that no child is denied access to education.” The ministry assured the general (…)
