Organized labour leaders, headed by Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President Joe Ajaero, have reached a truce with a Federal Government intervention team led by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum.The two sides held closed-door meetings yesterday and in the early hours today in Abuja to resolve outstanding issues, particularly concerning security, workers' welfare, and the economy.Following the discussions, labour leaders announced the suspension of the nationwide protest and commended President Bola Tinubu for steps taken to address workers' core (…)
