Former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has said that the decision to withdraw plans for the proposed establishment of an independent Hisbah Command was taken in good faith and in the interest of peaceful coexistence in Kano State. The proposed Hisbah Fisabilillahi, as the name implies, was conceived by the former APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, to absorb over 12,000 sacked government-owned Hisbah personnel in the state.
