FG Halts Enforcement of NAFDAC's Sachet Alcohol Ban

The Federal Government has ordered an immediate suspension of all enforcement actions related to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC)'s proposed ban on alcoholic beverages in sachets and PET bottles of 200ml or less.The directive comes from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), following a letter dated November 13, 2025, from the House of Representatives Committee on Food and Drugs Administration and Control.
