Two killed, nine injured as shooting disrupts exams at US Ivy League varsity

A shooting at Brown University, an Ivy League school in Rhode Island, United States, has left two people dead and nine others injured. The gunman opened fire as students sat to take an examination on Saturday evening. In a statement, the university said six students remain in critical but stable condition. Exams scheduled for Sunday were cancelled, while non-emergency staff who had overnight shifts were asked to skip work.
