Zamfara: Gov Lawal laments explosion, killing of Bukkuyum LG vice chairman

Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has expressed sorrow over the death of five persons killed in an explosion along the Gurusu–Gwashi road in Bukkuyum Local Government Area on Wednesday.In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, Governor Lawal described the incident as a “senseless loss of innocent lives”, noting that the explosive device was planted by armed bandits terrorising the area.The governor also commiserated with the family of Mu’azu Gwashi, the Vice Chairman of Bukkuyum Local Government Area, who was murdered by his abductors after spending over six months in (…)
