Seriake Dickson, senator representing Bayelsa west, says the death of Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor, has left him “saddened and heartbroken”, describing the late deputy governor as his “best” political understudy. Dickson, a former governor of the state, said Ewhrudjakpor has been his associate for nearly three decades. In a Facebook post on Friday, Dickson said he was preparing to attend the senate screening of ambassadorial nominees when he received a call about a medical emergency involving Ewhrudjakpor.
