A woman has been sentenced to four years in prison for blackmailing South Korean football superstar Son Heung-min.The Seoul central district court handed the sentence to the defendant, identified by her surname Yang, who was accused of extorting 300 million won (approximately $200,000) from Son in 2024.According to media reports, Yang sent Son a foetal ultrasound image, claiming she was pregnant with his child, and threatened to make the claim public unless he paid her.
