Nnamdi Kanu suffers first setback in suit seeking his transfer from Sokoto prison

The Federal High Court in Abuja has turned down the request of Biafra nation agitator, Nnamdi Kanu, seeking transfer from Sokoto prison to either Kuje prison in the Federal Capital Territory or Keffi prison in Nasarawa State. Kanu had filed an ex-parte application through the Legal Aid Council, praying the court to approve his request without hearing from the Federal Government.
