Troops from the Nigerian Army’s 1 Division, under Operation FANSAN YANMA, successfully rescued 10 women who had been kidnapped while working on their farms in Ungwan Nungu, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.The victims were abducted on 29 November 2025. Following intensive search-and-rescue efforts, soldiers intercepted the kidnappers at approximately 6:40 a.m. on Friday as the criminals attempted to collect ransom from the victims’ families.In a brief exchange of fire, the troops overpowered the abductors with superior firepower, compelling them to abandon the women and flee (…)
