A pregnant woman, Aisha Najamu, tragically died at the Turai Umaru Musa Yar’adua Maternity and Children Hospital on Monday night after a cashier allegedly refused to accept a bank transfer for emergency oxygen, insisting on cash payment only.Eyewitnesses said the critically ill woman arrived at the facility needing urgent oxygen but was denied treatment because she had no physical cash.One witness recounted: “Someone begged the cashier to accept a transfer, even offered extra money and later a $100 note, but the cashier refused, citing hospital policy.
