FEC Approves 4,000 Telecom Towers to Bridge Digital Divide in Underserved Communities

The Federal Executive Council (FEC), chaired by President Bola Tinubu, has approved the deployment of 4,000 telecommunications towers across Nigeria to extend digital connectivity to millions of citizens in underserved and unserved areas.Briefing State House correspondents after the meeting, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said the initiative is a joint effort between the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy and the Ministry of Finance.“The FEC granted approval for the establishment of service centres for agricultural mechanisation and the (…)
