Imo Lawmakers Unite Behind Creation of New ‘Anim State’ from Anambra, Imo Territories

All federal lawmakers from Imo State, led by Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere (Ideato North/South Federal Constituency), have thrown their full weight behind the proposed creation of Anim State, which would become the sixth state in Nigeria’s South-East geopolitical zone.In a joint press statement issued Wednesday, the lawmakers announced that they unanimously adopted Anim State as their consensus choice following an exhaustive meeting held Tuesday night in Abuja.Hon.
