Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has announced the proscription of masquerade display across the state.The governor announced the proscription while speaking at the 25th wedding anniversary of Precious Selong and his spouse, Edem Selong, a Permanent Secretary in the State civil service, held at the Methodist Church Nigeria, Uyo on SundayHe directed the commissioner of police and other security agencies to arrest and prosecute any masquerade seen displaying on the streets.Eno also directed local government chairmen to exclude them from their cultural presentations during the opening of (…)
