Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has strongly refuted circulating rumours that his administration ordered the closure of schools across the state over insecurity, describing the claim as “completely false, malicious and mischievous.”In a statement issued on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, the governor said no directive has ever been given to shut down schools and that academic activities are continuing uninterrupted.“At no time did the government direct the closure of schools, and we have no intention of doing so,” the statement read. “This baseless (…)
