The Nigerian Institute of Cancer Research and Treatment (NICRAT) has officially launched the NICRAT-AACR Access to Prevention and Treatment (APT) for Cancer Campaign – a new initiative aimed at boosting early detection and community-based cancer control in the Federal Capital Territory.The pilot project, launched in partnership with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), will focus on Abuja’s six Area Councils and train 60 frontline health workers in cancer advocacy, screening, and timely referral, with particular emphasis on breast and prostate cancers.Speaking at the (…)
