IGP Egbetokun Visits Niger, Kebbi Over Rising Insecurity

The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, on Wednesday undertook back-to-back working visits to Niger and Kebbi states to assess the security situation and reinforce federal support following recent violent incidents, including the abduction of students in Niger State.In Niger State, the IGP landed at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna, around 1:30 p.m. and was received by Assistant Inspector-General of Police Zone 7, Victor Olaiya, Commissioner of Police CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, and heads of sister security agencies.The visit came days after gunmen (…)
