Katsina gov signs 2026 appropriation bill into law

Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Radda, formally signed the 2026 Appropriation Bill into law on Wednesday, approving a total budget of N897,865,078,282.The budget allocation comprises N167,725,372,458 (18.68%) for recurrent expenditure and N730,139,705,823 (81.32%) for capital expenditure.Speaking at the signing ceremony at Government House, Katsina, Radda commended the State House of Assembly for expediting the legislative process within just 21 days of his budget presentation.“And today, after 21 working days, the State Assembly passed the budget yesterday, 25 November, barely three (…)
