Lagos: Police heighten security across schools, worship centres amid national threats

Lagos State Police Command has intensified security operations across schools, worship centres, markets, recreational facilities and major event locations as part of a renewed strategy to forestall threats and safeguard residents. The heightened security comes in the wake of recent incidents in other parts of the country, including the attack on a Catholic church in Eruku, Kwara State, and the abduction of students in Kebbi and Niger states by armed groups.
