Former senator, Shehu Sani, has urged the United Kingdom to grant the Federal Government’s request for the repatriation of former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu to Nigeria. Sani, in a statement on X Monday, said the UK should “accede to the request of the FG and allow Senator Ekweremadu return home and complete his term,” stressing that the long-standing historical and diplomatic relationship between both nations should guide the decision.
