FG postpones NAFEST 2025 over rising insecurity

The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy has announced the postponement of the 2025 edition of the National Festival of Arts and Culture.According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the festival, which was to be hosted by Enugu State, was scheduled to begin on November. 22However, the postponement was announced on Saturday in Abuja by Nneka Anibeze, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Minister.The decision followed a careful assessment of the national mood amid rising insecurity across various parts of the country.“In solidarity with affected families and (…)
