Matawalle Fires Back at Amaechi Over Protest Call, Defends Badaru’s Dubai Trip

Minister of State for Defence, Dr Bello Muhammed Matawalle, has sharply condemned former Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi for allegedly inciting Nigerians to protest amid the country’s security challenges, urging him to “desist from inflammatory remarks.”In a statement on Thursday, Matawalle also addressed public criticism over the absence of Minister of Defence Muhammad Badaru, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa, clarifying that Badaru is attending the 2025 Dubai International Airshow with President Bola Tinubu’s full approval.“The (…)
