Rivers safe, ready for business – Fubara dismisses claims of insecurity

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has dismissed recent media reports suggesting that the state is unsafe, describing such claims as misleading and politically motivated.Speaking an Amateur Golf Championship in Port Harcourt, the governor said the impressive attendance of guests and athletes from across Africa clearly contradicted the negative portrayals circulating in the media.Governor Fubara noted that although Rivers State experienced around six months of disruptions due to political tensions, the situation has since stabilised.According to him, “I can tell you the truth: more (…)
