Zamfara to conduct mass wedding for 200 orphans

The Zamfara State Government, through the Zakkat and Endowment Board, has concluded arrangements to sponsor the wedding of 200 orphans in the state.Executive Secretary of the Board, Malam Habibu Balarabe, disclosed this to journalists in Gusau. He said the ceremony is scheduled for Monday, November 23, 2025, at the Board’s premises.He noted that all beneficiaries for the mass wedding have been screened and selected.In addition to the wedding programme, the Board will also provide grants to 200 women engaged in small-scale businesses to support and expand their livelihoods.Balarabe stated (…)
